GRANT WRITING INTERN
This part-time internship will be for 8 weeks (open to extension) starting mid-May or early June 2020. Interns will work approximately 20 hours a week remotely, and expected to be present for team meetings on Saturdays.
You will need your own laptop and smartphone for the day to day tasks. We are open to applicants from any field of study and of all experience levels!
We are looking for a mission-driven and resourceful grant proposal writer who will play a very critical role in the successful acquisition of funding and sponsorships for our organization’s various initiatives. You are passionate about championing minority/Muslim women representation issues and are able to put forward convincing pitches in writing to convince external parties of why they should invest in our organisations’ efforts. Candidates with prior experience in writing successful grant proposals for various organizations or clubs/societies in school and beyond are preferred.
Qualified candidates should possess excellent writing and computer skills (Microsoft Office Word, Access, Powerpoint, and Excel), and database management skills.
